Surplus 1989 Western States Fire Engine

Pursuant to board direction and in compliance with Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 279, Elsie Vinemaple Rural Protection Fire District has declared the following vehicle to be surplus property.

1989 Western States Fire Engine

Minimum Bid: $5,000

Vehicle is sold “as-is/where-is” with no warranty implied or expressed. All loose equipment will be removed prior to sale.

The vehicle may be viewed at Elsie Vinemaple RFPD at 42644 Loyd Ln Seaside Oregon.  Please email to schedule a viewing.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. Friday , October 25th, 2024. Bids will be opened on Monday, October 28th 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Elsie Vinemaple Rural Fire Protection District, 42644 Loyd Ln, Seaside, Oregon.

Bid Instructions:

1. Bids must be delivered or mailed to:

2. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked as above.

3. Bids must clearly identify the bid amount.

4. Bids must clearly identify the Department, Organization or Person submitting the bid.

5. Bids must contain the name, title or position, complete mailing address and telephone number of contact.

Bid Awards:

Bidding is open to all agencies and members of the public. Awards will be made using the following criteria: (Note: Elsie-Vinemaple Rural Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any and all bids).

1. Vehicle will be awarded to the highest bidder.

2. Bids must be received by the deadline to be considered.

3. Payment due within 72 hours of award notification.

4. Vehicle must be removed from property within (7) seven days of award notification.

5. Verification of the following information:

a. Minimum bid amount of vehicle.

b. Proof of available funds.

6. Payment by cash or cashier’s check.
